The following appears in edition 434 of Majallat al-Mujtama' al-Kuwaitiyyah (dated 25/2/1979CE):

Summarized Translation

The Muslim Brotherhood called upon the leaders of Islamic movements in Turkey, Pakistan, India, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Malaysia and Phillipines - in relation to (what has been done by) the various organizational branches of the Muslim Brotherhood in the Arab world, Europe and America - that they should prepare a delegation (each) to go to Tehran in a special plane and meet Ayatollah Khomeini in order to strengthen the solidarity of the Islamic movements represented by all the delegations, which are: al-Ikhwan al-Muslimoon, Turkish Hizb al-Salaamah, al-Jamaa'ah al-Islaamiyyah in Pakistan, al-Jamaa'ah al-Islaamiyyah in India, Jamaa'ah Hizb Maashoomee in Indonesia, Jamaa'ah Shabaab al-Islaam in Malaysia, al-Jamaa'ah al-Islaamiyyah in the Phillipines.

And the meeting was one indicating the greatness of Islaam and its power... and Imaam al-Khomeini was showed concern and emphasized to them that capital of the Islamic revolution in the world is but the individual Muslim who says "Laa ilaaha ilallaah" and its place is not just Iran but in every Islamic nation in wihch the ruler shows haughtiness against the Islamic religion and resists the flow of the movement, and that it was Allaah who honoured al-Khomeini with support against the Shah.

And from its side the delegation emphasized to al-Imaam al-Khomeini that the Islamic movements will fulfil their covenant of serving the Islamic revolution in Iran and in every place with its capabilities in terms of manpower, knowledge and wealth. And after the delegation performed Salaat al-Ghaa'ib (funeral prayer in absence) for the martyrs (of the revolution) a series of meetings were arranged with Dr. Ibrahim Yazdee, the prime minister and personal aide to al-Imaam al-Khomeini and who had a personal relationship with the members of the delegation and also during the secret movement of the organization of Imaam al-Khomeini against the Savak.

... Then the delegation announced, in a television interview, of a day of solidarity with the Iranian revolution within all parts of the Islamic world and outside of it, wherever Islamic communities are found and that Salaat al-Ghaa'ib should be prayed for the martyrs of the Iranian revolution after Jumu'ah on 16th March 1979, and that all people involved in Islamic work in all places should mention this day, and remind others withh it and make the Salaat al-Ghaa'ib on this day as a symbol of the unity of the Islamic Ummah, fulfilling the saying of Imaam al-Khomeini, "The capital of the Islamic revolution in Iran is every Muslim who says 'Laa ilaaha illallaah'" Allaah is great, to Allaah belongs the praise. The Muslim Brotherhood.

Notes and Comments

This is just one of many wathaa'iq (documentary evidences) indicating the relationship between al-Ikhwaan al-Muslimoon and the Raafidah, indicating the relationship between Rafd and Khaarijiyyah. However, this is not really the surprising thing and there are more important points to be raised here which include the fact that there are lying, deceiving, treacherous individuals who came out with corrupt innovated principles aimed at defending and sheltering groups like al-Ikhwan al-Muslimoon and their activities. These are people like Abdur-Rahmaan Abdul-Khaaliq an Ikhwaani who attempted to bring the manhaj of Hasan al-Banna and Sayyid Qutb to a Salafi audience. He innovated numerous deceptive principles to this end, including "ta'addud al-jamaa'aat" (legitimacy of multiplicity of groups). Also innovators like Abu al-Hasan al-Ma'ribee al-Misree. And also Salman al-Awdah, another treacherous Ikhwani. Following this path in the West were the likes of Ali al-Timimi and the hordes of clueless misguided on his bandwagon. Al-Timimi was pushing the fikr of Abdur-Rahman Abdul-Khaaliq clothed in the garb of Salafiyyah, and it was simply a route to bringing the ideas of Hasan al-Banna and Sayyid Qutb to an unsuspecting Salafi audience. These are the real significant points that should be made - these actions of al-Ikhwaan, they are not surprising - but more surprising and worthy of attention is the positions people take towards this jamaa'ah after having been informed of its realities. This is because al-Ikhwan as a group is not a danger to Ahl al-Sunnah as much as these treacherous individuals who accommodate al-Ikhwan and portray them as being from Ahl al-Sunnah and devise false principles to defend such deviant groups in the name of benefiting the da'wah and strengthening the Ummah.
